I never was much of a reader, and whatever desire I might have had to read was killed in graduate school where I was forced to read thousands of pages of dense material. But a number of years later, I started to read again, not because I had to, but because I wanted to learn.

Leading will do that. Over time, it became second nature to be listening to a book while on a run, or reading a book with a cup of coffee. I’m deeply indebted to the authors of these books for the indelible mark they’ve made on my life and leadership. I’ve created this page to help others (like yourself!) have an easier way to access the titles that have shaped me.

Below are links to pages from previous years with the number of books I read that year in parenthesis. Many of the books on those pages are linked to Amazon, and I do receive a small commission when they’re clicked (so please, click them all!!!).
