Just a quick entry before we head off to church. Yesterday was the first week of games in the New London/Kendall Valley soccer season and Sydney’s team won easily. It was her very first soccer game and she looked the part with the shin guards, soccer shorts and pig tails. Very cute.
After a quick brunch over at Mac’s Breakfast Anytime, we were back for Parker and Will’s debut. Interestingly enough, we won, even with me coaching! We scored 2 goals in the first half and then played a scoreless second half to win 2 to nada. Craziest part of the game was the fact that I had a strategy and it worked. More on that in a later post specifically about some U10 soccer strategy that I picked up during a last minute Google search before the game.
