DAY THREE (Genesis 29 – 40:11)
Two overall impressions from today’s reading:
First, I cannot believe all the deception going on just in the first book of the Bible. The fact that this kind of stuff is included makes the Bible even more reliable as God’s word, because if it was the invention of man, we wouldn’t have put this bad stuff in it. As a race, we’re way too prideful to do that.
Second, it was a bright spot finally getting to the story of Joseph. Compared to all the deceivers to this point, Joseph is quite the shining light of integrity. It was refreshing.
