Reading Time: 2 minutes

When I set out to write something every day for an entire year, I expected that there would be days when I wouldn’t know what to write.

Actually, I expected that there would be a lot of them. What a pleasant surprise to have found just the opposite! By writing daily, most days have been full of the overflow of my heart and the thoughts and words have come fairly easily.

But not today. Today feels like those times when I sit down to pray and have nothing to pray. Just like in those times, when I’ve learned to pray God’s word, I want to simply let you read HIS words. Let these words remind you that your Father is FOR you. After all, his words are far better than any I could write today.

Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call; this I know, that God is for me. (Psalm 56:9, emphasis mine)

The Lord is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me? The Lord is for me among those who help me. (Psalm 118:6-7a, emphasis mine)

For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you will be cultivated and sown. (Ezekiel 36:9, emphasis mine)

If the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, had not been for me, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. God has seen my affliction and the toil of my hands, so He rendered judgment last night.” (Genesis 31:42, emphasis mine)

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? (Romans 8:31, emphasis mine)

There will be times that words fail, when we feel as if we have nothing to say. Times when it seems as if we are invisible to others and even to God himself. But in those times, HIS words speak loudly, “I am for you.

God is for us.

Be filled with that truth today, friend!
